3)Singapore is a small country with little water resource
i enjoyed using the blog
i enjoyed talking on blog
Listening with understanding and empathy
1)singapore is facing a shortage of water and need to look for other sources of water. This is fun.we can do our part to conserve water.
ReplyDelete2)dicussion and sharing our views
learn ways to conserve water
3)persisting
What I have learnt:
ReplyDeleteI got to know Singapore's responses in increasing the water supply. I have also learnt about the numerous conservation measures that Singapore has implemented to encourage water conservation.U have also learnt about The Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters Programme.
Two things I enjoyed:
1) Learning new things about Singapore's water management programmes.
2) Looking at the responses of other pupils in the blog and posting my responses.
One HOM applied:
Applying past knowledge to new situations.
1) Water is Important, water must be conserved and water is precious.
ReplyDelete2) Talking to others on the blog and learning about water.
3) Persisting.

3. The main aims of ABC Waters Programme.
Two things that I have enjoyed:
1. Get to use new touch screen samsung LCD.
2. Get to make use of technology in productive learning.
One HOM that I have applied:
Applying past knowledge to new situations.
I have learnt in the past about the restraint in water resources in Singapore. Thus, I apply them in my further learning now.
1)-how can we conserve water
ReplyDelete-how do singapore conserve water e.g.local catchment area
-main aims of water programmes
2)-reading the different comments
-the instant replys
3)-applying past knowledge to new situations
1. Three things learnt:
ReplyDelete- Water is scarce.
- It is hard to get people to conserve water because it disrupts their usual lifestyle.
- Incentives given to encourage people to conserve water does not always work.
2. Two things enjoyed:
- Discussing with each other on the blog.
- Learning about conserving water.
3. One HOM:
- Applying past knowledge to new situations.
1)I have learnt about the different ways that Singapore has use to conserve water.I had learnt that how important is water to us, we must conserve as much water as we can so that that there will still be fresh water on the Earth.Singapore has try to think of many ways other than importing water from other countries.
ReplyDelete2)I have enjoyed the whole activity as i learnt more information about water and how my friends think of water or use water. It was fun reading the coments that they gave as they were interesting.

1)I've learnt about the ways that Singapore had done to get more water, and how Singapore had tried to conserve water. Water seems so easily available for us, but actually to supply Singapore with enough water, it's not an easy task. Especially during econimics crisis, Singapore may run out of money for water anytime.
ReplyDelete2)The research, learning about new things we had not thought of and never knew.
The discussion, although some comments are simply useless, but most of the discussion among the classmates is quite enjoyable, as we are discussing about a matter that we just learnt. It's a rare oppotunity as most of the times we do not discuss or comment about what we have learnt.
3)Applying past knowledge to new situation. Water and conserving water is not a completely unfamiliar question to us, we did get knowledge about water and conserving water through advertisment or television programmes, or even science and project work lessons. With these knowledges, we can get deeper into the discussion, and also learn from each other's knowledge about this situation.
1) Water conservation is important. Water does not come cheap. The different strategies to managing Singapore's water supply.
ReplyDelete2) Communicating with group members via the blog. Reading the different comments in the blog.

supply.

Two things that I have enjoyed from this activity:
1. It is fun to blog.
2. The aircon.
